The 70s and 80s are long gone and so is some of the “thinking” related to strength training younger humans. Assuming if you’re reading this, you have received the memo about its safety and benefits. From cardiovascular health to improved motor skill development, a well structured program can have long lasting effects. 

As a high school Track and Field coach for almost a decade I have certainly seen the change in physical literacy and overall general strength. The mission at Rise Up Training is to develop technical competency in the weight room along with physical competency outside of it. The foundational  process is critical in laying the groundwork for the many progressions that are needed to perform optimally at any level of sport or life. The goal is to learn and the rest should take care of itself.
